Schools have been signing up again for the excellent Bikeability scheme following last year's successful pilot course! This year 28 Holgate SSP primary schools have signed up for Level 1 and Level 2 Bikeability courses. These courses are currently subsidised by external grants meaning that to run both these courses has only cost schools £150 this year. This is excellent value considering up to 30 pupils can be trained.

There are no more places available for schools this year but pending continued funding the offer will be available again for next year. The scheme directly addresses the Health, Safety and Achievement aspects of the Every Child Matters agenda and is part of a nationally accredited programme.
